Ker & Downey Africa Set To Launch New Luxury-Focused Trips In Egypt
Luxury travel tour operator Ker & Downey Africa has this week announced its plans to expand its high-end offerings to Egypt. The announcement coincides with the 100-year anniversary of the discovery of King Tutankhamen’s tomb.
The company has launched a series of premier “LuxVenture” trips that are meant to showcase the very best parts of Egypt—from the lush Nile River to the desert realms of Giza and everything in between.
“We have seen a significant surge in demand from our substantial safari market seeking to return to Africa in order to explore new frontiers,” Sarah Morris, General Manager of Ker & Downey Africa Private Clients, said in a recent press release. “To cater to this, we are expanding our destination portfolio starting with Egypt.”
The eight-, ten- or eleven-day trips will include the expert service of a professional Egyptologist guide as well as comprehensive itineraries that offer exclusive private access to some of the countries most storied and sought-after attractions and historic sites.
The itineraries range based on client interest and length of trip but travelers can expect everything from visits to the Valley of Kings and the paws of the Sphinx to an active archeological site and even after-hours guided tours of the Egyptian Museum.
Prices start at $4,195 per person with the choice to opt into additional excursions and experiences based on individual interest. More information—including how to book your spot—is available on the official Ker & Downey Africa website.
